RF I never at any stage said that the dog was the truckers fault. Just explaining where it came from. Just happy it did not get run over by a horse. Just drive to Clairwood and see the dogs around the area. Impossible to keep an eye on every gap as new ones made every day.
GB that is what we are trying to correct. That race on Sunday was not a GC problem but they are wrongly being blamed for it and some that actually know that it was not a GC problem are trying to make it a GC problem rather than agreeing that it was a NHRA decision and the stipes were bound by the rules. All for their own agendas.

The shortcomings of the NHA rules and failure to enforce are a continual source of frustration to me,as posters will know..............I just don't agree with reacting and blaming AFTER every incident! ............why isn't anyone else proactive about regulatory shortcoming before the cock-ups?
GC are to blame for letting failure to regulate,bring the game into disrepute!

The host of racing is hosting the peope something is done wrong the host carries the load and takes responsability.
All im saying is who cares about the carry over take the 120 000 and have a free party lunch to all racegoers on a given saturday it would do so much to lift spirits of the die hard racegoers.

Out of interest....if a GC security guard let's a child into the parade ring and it gets kicked by a horse.....who is responsible....GC or NHA.....Bottom line is on a race day who is responsible for what happens throughout the day?

the 2 courses i went to in oz there was a ring adjacent to the parade ring where the owners jocks and trainers were and in the main ring the horses ...only jock and trainer could enter the ring where the horses were when it was time to saddle up....nobody else done for safety reasons
