Does not look the worst card I have ever seen; some thoughts:

R3: Principled Man made a very good debut (just behind Willow Magic who came out to win his maiden impressively), so imo the 2 first timers supported in the betting must be better than average to trouble him - I think PM will win and will win well

R4: Strappy first leg of the P6, imo the de Kock first timer could easily prove good enough for these; Wild Thing ran 6 lengths behind Willow Magic last time and could be best of the raced runners; both Mo Ichi Do and Who Dat need further improvement imo - they finished only a length in front of Emblazoned Star (who is going for his 28th start today); I'd either bank Wild Thing in the P6, or go very wide.

R5: Secret Magok looks hard to beat; Let's Play tries blinkers and could be the danger if she can reproduce her pinultimate run where she finished in front of Eccentric Model, who came out to win a competitve maiden straight after that; SM certainly a worthy PA banker imo, but I'd include LP in the P6

R6: Another maiden that looks wide open; go wide in the PA and include as many as the budget allows in the PS and JP.

R7: Very competitve sprint; Jade Bay has come down in MR and with a fast track could go start to finish; Extreme West also looks well in at the weights, but may struggle to come from behind if the track is running fast; many others will be competitive as well, including Gold Site, De Var Hyt (very consistent but does look to have something to find at the weights), Blue Nile (hard to catch if he jumps on terms), Goldstream, Tobit (ignore last run), Boeing Boeing (very consistent recently over this trip) and Vulcan (may prefer 1200, but tries blinkers, which may give him the early speed needed to be right there)

R8: Absolute 2 horse contest imo, and my preference is for Yukon Gold (only worry a possible virus which apparently led to 3 or 4 runners being scratched on Tuesday). YG does look much better on firmer going and could beat the consistent Cookie Monster. Sugar and Shake to complete the trifecta

R9: Another open looking affair to close; Aljawhara looks the safest option from a PA point of view, but may need an extra 200 to be fully effective, so definitely beatable imo; Coastal Caberet loves this trip and is a big danger with Sing the Blues who comes out of a good last run (has been found to not stride out, so the firmer going could be a problem); for some roughies I'd look at Sol's Gold (MR has dropped by 10 points and ran only 4.5 lengths behind Espumanti at level weights a while ago), Justanotherday (probably better down the straight?), Knock and Announce (not badly in on best form) and Hurricane Velvet (has beaten Van Loveren - twice a winner since then - in her maiden, and did not enjoy the sand last time)

Play well (tu)

PK, for R8 I have 2 x 1 but its only paying 3.3 or something like that and I didn't consider it much value or adding much to the bet so left it out. Brave man to take note of what I say (:P)

Not read it yet, but thanks for the preview Frodo, much appreciated as always (tu)
