Maybe I am looking at it wrong, in Race 5 Tarteeb, Miesque's Force and Desert Rat met on the 22nd April where Tarteeb beat Miesque's Force by 0.75L with Desert Rat a further 0.25L back in 3rd. It was a MR Handicap, Tarteeb picked up a 2 pound penalty, Miesque's Force was unchanged and Desert Rat picked up an 8 pound penalty. I am no handicapper but would love to understand how this works. :S

Maybe blinkers can improve it but not sure.

Geez how I hate late scratchings in SA... 30% on winner and 3rd for a 15-runs maiden horse coming off a 6 month break. Shams or no Shams that would take a little doing and is a little tough to take!
