Great calls Don... (tu) now if you had posted them this morning maybe we could have come to a deal ;) I don't generally post much these days during racing so often miss the calls during the day, I find it easier posting early and then concentrating

The reason she made that comment was becoz the stable had a bet on Castle Rock and the stable mate had just won,had she given her thoughts on the last race there is no doubt she would have said She's Got Gears was the stable elect, which it was..

I hear you Titch but for whatever reason they are a stable that very few people seem to like or trust anymore. Joanne should stop doing the interviews, it is simply a thank you to everyone plus Bill n Ben and any other Flowerpot Men she may have come across in her life plus the comment i love all my horses every time. The interviews are surely meant to mean something and be informative to the public, not simply an opportunity for her to give an oscar acceptance speech every time. I am sure she may well be a lovely lady but that is not the point, the interviews with her are farcical. And time after time the stable then have a heavily supported winner or the second string gets up etc etc... not good enough in my book nor in the opinion of a few others around here. No-one expects them to get it right every time but look at the difference today in the interviews between Stef and Joanne, Stef went all out to be as informative as she could be and comment on all the stable's horses, Joanne just says no no no, just unacceptable imho..

Couldn't understand why Mr. Vindaloo opened that price when the Jock already knew he had them stone cold at the times and weights, it's one of those very few instances where monitoring a horse and making notes really pays dividends. I was itching to see the betting when it opened three days before the race. I made Poweroftheflower and Mr Vindaloo unbeatable but this is racing and anything can happen. the double at 11:00am yesterday was 50/1 so naturally when you take 50k of it and 28k of the 12/1 on offer for Mr. Vindaloo the price will decrease with the wins and doubles landing on Mr. Vindaloo. I couldn't help notice Sarel's comments after the race and it wasn't cause we knew more than him but rather took a chance based on the winning times. Well done to all that collected, it was a nice pay day.
