Dave... Moyes has inherited a squad that is very decent but needs fine tuning. I think he was absolutely right to go for Fabregas and I am a little surprised he did not want to come but so be it. I think everyone else was simply a bit of a plug. I thought we were the better team against both the Russians and the scum but both defended deep and in numbers and I doubt Moyes is used to that. Difficult to break down especially when you have three wingers in Nani, Young and Valencia who currently all simply seem incapable of taking on the opposition etc though possibly not all are match fit. Moyes will need time and I am not so stupid as to judge him on paper-talk or on a couple of weeks in the job etc. He's a good manager, whether he can cope at United only time will tell but all this talk about the transfer window is simply people wanting him to fail. Load of nonsense really.

Not at all Dave. If I thought we were poor I would say so very quickly but I didn't. I was "happy" with the performance in both games generally, just the failing to break down the defence being the concern which is exactly what Fabregas would have brought us. (And our passing was a little off at times but that has been true for some time). If you look back at the Fergie era, especially the latter years, I think you'll find those performances were much better than some of the sh1t we have played against those clubs. For years I've listened to how poor our defence is but nobody seems to want to mention it now all of a sudden. now its the midfield's turn to be completely sh1t! lol We conceded only once in those two games due to a defensive lapse, it happens. We had more shots in the two games combined than the opposition despite this concern about creating openings... but I am meant to be panicing and saying we were sh1t?! lmao. Behave.
