battling with that. But have just watched the Summer Cup video footage where Delta Form wins - doesn't look like his hind feet have socks. HOwever, in this race he isn't running in the yellow/red/white sleeve silks but what looks like maroon or brown?

Yeah I believe those are the silks of the new owners who bought him from Salzman

Yeah I believe those are the silks of the new owners who bought him from Salzman

Horse Chestnut was also beaten by Century Stand, allbeit in the same race.

Two contemporaries of Gavin Lerena were Khumalo and Danielson and, although the latter hasn't equalled the feats of the first two mentioned yet, he has talent coming out of his ears.
Since then there's been the like of Teetan, Van Niekerk, Van Der Merwe etc who have potential, not to mention current apprentices like Juglall, Mariba and De Melo.
As far as the Academy goes as a learning facility it has never been better.
They have a state of the art equisizer to practice on, video analysis of their rides, nutritionists, fitness instructors and even sports psychologists if they want.
Mental fortitude and professionalism is something they will have find from within, but no doubt the Academy gives them a world beating grounding and will continue to produce top jockeys.
