Last week outside draws were definitely advantageous - no reason why it should change this week?

I think Frodo was right and for that meeting on Sept 23rd there appeared to me to be a definite advantage for those drawn on the higher side. Can change meeting to meeting and might be of no consequence but, if you can, I would maybe try to watch the first couple of races for a pointer. It might be becoming a trend again as it seems the last two have now been that way., but time will tell...

Lots of rain around yesterday - not sure how much fell at the course - might change / introduce draw bias - for sure the first few races should be an indication ::o

amazing - Julie and Nico sit and "wonder if it rained at the Vaal last night" - Hell can they not call up a trainer and ask if it rained? Common sense

Nice spot Mr H, blinker strike on Turf and as you say looks better on the Turf although he took on some strong sand fields.I will take him in swingers and exactas with my Best Bet of the Day being Blazing Sunset. (tu)

Blazing Sunset's two Turf runs after nearly a year off the track have been super impressive. If the going is best on the outside he has a perfect draw and with his speed could have the race won in the first half of the trip. He beat a decent field last time out and with the apprentice claim puts him in the race with a similar weight to the other runners he beat, and much better off with Shannon's Boy with Aucharuz losing his allowance. On his last run on LBH on formgrids he would have finished just 1.68 lenghts behind De Var Hyt at level weights and a short head behind Goldsteam giving it 4,5kg's and Goldsteam would still currently be 5 points higher rated off an 87. The Binda yard is still ticking over nicely with 10 winners from the last 50 runs even though the last few weeks they have been a bit quiter. Managed to get 7/1 a win and 15/10 a place and still feel there is good value at the current 6/1 available.

The Zaki stable could come back into form but who knows as none of the teletrack bunch have bothered to call him .Nico and Julie say something like "wait until you see them in the ring to see if they are well or not" . How does that help punters that may want to put Mount Hillaby in the P6 etc - The whole approach to info needs a serious overhaul!!

There are 5 fillies making their debut in race 1, a workriders. Some expensive horses. Must say, I don't like the idea. Guess it could be OK if the riders are their regular pilots at home, but still.

Very frustrating - however from BW's point of view, I'd imagine that they are putting up the show in order to lure the 'mug' money into having a bet with them - so not the purpose of the show to enlighten the 'more astute' punter to the state of the going, stable reports, etc.

I do understand that there is a need to get the 'applicable' information - however I'm not sure who is responsible for 'putting it out there' - or how such a endeavour could be financed - USO on the week-ends at least provides 'more relevant' info imo - so why can't there be a similar (or better?) show in the week - until then we will be treated as the proverbial mushrooms :(

Frodo, I see on sahorceracing that 2mm of rain fell so I can't see it having any affect to the going.
