The best horse doesn't always win the race.

I havent seen the race yet but surely Barry Irwin would not concern himself with the fact that his horse is 15/10 and look to give the horse an "easy" in the hope of getting a better price next time out?? and the same can be said about the Snaith yard who I know race to win, you don't have 35 winners in 10 weeks by giving horses "easy runs" when the price is "not right" :S it may have been a below par ride or the horse may have needed it but I am convinced that the fact the horse was priced up 15/10 had absolutely nothing to do with the result...I can remember clearly taking 15/10 off the 9/10 Forest Panther earlier this month and collecting, bottom line if a horse from that yard looks to have a winning chance 9 times out of 10 they will win irrespective of the price..
Give everything but up!

On the subject of the Snaith stable.........a look at history patterns says that the Snaith bros love the limelight at the glamour meetings-nothing wrong with that intent but watch for horses being prepared for those days.
Works for Cape Town and even PE.
