Have been taking an interest in this up coming record but perhaps those who know more about this form of racing can help...............in the last few weeks AP has had a few winners,because of his skill,but has seemed to be riding very ordinary horses.
Is this just a pre-season thing before the hotties come out that he would normally expect to ride!

Rob he has never had the quality of rides that Ruby Walsh or a Barry Gerrity does, not saying that all his rides are pish, but he does ride more average horses than Ruby or Barry

This reminds me of batsmen in the nineties.............he just cant get them home at the moment.........he gives them every chance but many have tired on him lately......when he gets there the floodgates will probably open.

Remember Rob the season "proper" is just starting,doubt he will get his winners today..

Most Jump racers are slower staying types and are better on softer going,so most of the bigger stables only run a few during the summer season

If I was a layer,I would be laying all he's mounts until he reaches the milestone.
He's rides must be underpriced.
