Yeah you are absolutely right, she needed the run but the reason for my question is, IF you think you have a decent filly who could win her way through the divisions and perhaps a GR1, then don't you try to place her and run her in races where she can actually win?

She had NO CHANCE on the weights in that race, in fact at WFA, she was 6.5kg's out with the winner.

Like I said....NO chance

Here you have a horse who has NEVER shown any form over 1200m EXCEPT for today :)

And he beats quite a hot field too.
