the panel liked espumanti as banker /best bet on card.do you remember coming off long rest and a bout of colic if i heard correctly.j soma also liked patriotic rebel as an outstanding bet in distance race saying its running against C division opposition.if u follow their logic then p6 should be a breeze.4 fields with 2 bankers.

Dont't forget Hollywood's fractional betting is rounded to 2 decimal places (and not zero dec places like the tote) enabling one to take a massive perm for just 0.01%. You won't be able to retire but for me very cool.

Mac doesn't the tote also offer 2 decimal places as well so you can take for example 1,56%. Not sure if there is a minimum percentage on the tote like 1%.

howzit Shrek
.
I recently tried one for less than 1% on the tote but it didn't work so went to HWB where it did work. Perhaps you're correct abt a min of 1%.

Also the problem with playing a big perm for 0.01% at Hollywood is the R500,000 bookies limit. So if the Pick 6 pays R3,000,000 you will only R500,000 payout so a maximum payout of R50-00 for your 0.01%. The Pick 6 looks like it could well pay more than R500,000.

I was just reading Hollywoods T&C's and see they have a limit for 1,000,000/1 for the Pick 6 now and 500,000/1 on the exotics, so well done to them. I wonder if this is the norm now with all bookies? Otherwise well done Hollywood for increasing the limit. (tu)

Nicci Garner: Trainer Mike de Kock has won the R2-million Sansui Summer Cup a record nine times and bookmakers believe he can make it 10 at Turffontein on Saturday when he sends his diminutive grey filly Ilha Bela into battle.
Ilha Bela is Betting World’s Summer Cup favourite at 11-2, ahead of Yorker, one of four runners from the stable of Geoff Woodruff.
The best value in the ante-post betting might be the 14-1 about Tiger’s Retreat, winner of the Victory Moon Stakes at Turffontein recently. The Sean Tarry-trained gelding beat Master Sabina, an 8-1 chance for the Summer Cup, by a head with Ilha Bela third. He does meet Master Sabina on 0.5kg worse terms and Ilha Bela is 1.5kg better off for a 1.25-length beating, but he rallied gamely when headed and should stay the 2000m, which he tries for the first time.
He has come in slightly from his opening call of 16-1, while Royal Bencher is now quoted at 25-1, having opened at 33s.
Graham Beck Stakes winner Whistle Stop, who is also trained by De Kock, has opened favourite at 22-10 for the Investec Dingaans, one of the six supporting features on Cup Day, while Espumanti is quoted at 15-10 for the Ipi Tombe Challenge, with Do You Remember at 2-1.
The Summer Cup betting: 11-2 Ilha Bela; 6-1 Yorker; 7-1 Wylie Hall; 8-1 Master Sabina; 10-1 Whiteline Fever, Cherry On The Top; 12-1 Royal Zulu Warrior; 14-1 Tiger’s Retreat, Killua Castle; 16-1 and upwards others.
Dingaans betting: 22-10 Whistle Stop; 3-1 Willow Magic; 10-1 Heart Of A Lion, Weekend Temper, Judicial; 12-1 Mount Hillaby; 14-1 Taarish; 16-1 and upwards others.
KIC Merchants betting: 5-1 Welwitschia, King’s Bay; 6-1 Here Comes Billy; 8-1 Desert Sheik, Snowdon; 10-1 Deliver The Power, Jackodore, Miss October, Kingston Boy; 14-1 Copper Parade, Link Man; 16-1 and upwards others.
ABSA Rewards Ipi Tombe Challenge betting: 15-10 Espumanti; 2-1 Do You Remember; 8-1 Orange Blossom; 12-1 Amur Affair; 14-1 Classic Illusion, Bluroute; 16-1 and upwards others.

Couple of points
- Well done to HW for increasing the limit, however is it not easier to use Interbet and ensure you get the full payout?
- Regarding pick 6 sturctures (Sheza), this is exactly something i have been meaning to look at since hte new rules but unfortunately been super busy with other commitments. As with Soccer 13/10/6 i believe you need a structure in place before looking at the card. Work out what is affordable, lets say R500 for 10% is the going rate, then you structure your picks around that. You know for R5000 full perm you need 2 bankers, 2 legs of 3, and 2 fields. Then you look at the card and break it down from there.
Anyway thats what i am trying, not sure if it is correct or not but it is defintiely something i will be investing some time in. And it has worked for me in the football pools.
