What's makes a great trainer? I think the love they have for horses and putting them 1st. I remember wen national currency had to undergo a op in dubai n mike flew up to be wit him n teared wen interviewed. In my opinion that's a great trainer

I think there is a very very fine line between great trainer and great horseman.

i think the greats of the world "know how far to push before breaking" they therefore can have horses far better prepared and ready.

Mike is a great and nothing else. Watch and follow - he will be back, strong as ever. Just look at his stats for last Season - absolutely terriffic and not obtained by fluke !
