To hang onto 5th place is hoping that Arsenal win the FA cup so as to qualify for Champions League.

If Arsenal win the FA Cup and Spurs come 5th it does not mean that Spurs get into the Champions League. If Man United win the Champions League and say finish 6th then they will get into the Champions League and the side that finish 4th dips out just like Spurs did when Chelsea won the Champions League after finishing 6th in the league

Spurs should sell Sandro as he costs them plenty of points/matches with his thuggish tackles. Tonight he gives away a penalty in the last second thus denying Spurs of a win against Benfica.

2-1 or 2-2 still not going through...only effect if WIN taken on Tottenham...would have been a great effort away from home after being behind

a win would have given Tottenham much confidence going forward to the end of the season. look how Arsenal performed toward the end of last season after they beat Bayern even though they went out

Granted...Sherwood seems to have lost the players though after his rant at them...guess he will be shown the door at some point in near future...end of season possibly as cannot make CL so bringing in some-one new now not going to get them there...

Louis Van Gaal is a name been touted around as the next Spurs manager. He has openly stated that he wants to manage in England after the World Cup. I assume that before he makes his decision he will be watching developments at both Man United and Man City.

At last a show of determination. It was never going to be easy to win at Benfica. A definate clean out needed for next season.
If we play our remaining games with guts and determination 5th spot is on the cards and then in the hands of lady luck.
