Good call...()...I also expected Bayern to do better but they seem to have possession but no penetration in attack and slow to get back when Real countered...

No defending champion has won since AC Milan in late 1980's...

Best team won,we made two critical mistakes.Conceding a sloppy goal just before the break,that gave them momentum and changed everything.
Then a typical forwards challenge by Eto..They are a very good side,particularly OUR goalkeeper,makes you wonder regarding their first goal,he would have been out to collect that floated cross,whereas Scwartzer was on he's heels.

Must say KReddy,you couldn't have watched the game.Their positive football as you allude to,is a mirror image of the way Chelsea set up away from home.
Big difference is they have a decent striker,who can play up on he's own and still cause a lot of problems.
If you think Athletico will play open football in the final,you are wrong..

Their fans were superb last night,especially when they got the third..

At least JM had the satisfaction of taking 6 points of Liverpool and ruining there title ambitions.
