Wylie Hall - Waichong upbeat on his chances when interviewed by Dave Mollett. Ferraris stable now turned the corner and quietly confident on his rides for Saturday and said that Wylie had a very good gallop earlier in the week . Cherry on the top and Wylie Hall could be a nice double on the day at good odds . cheers

Using a simple straight line accumulator with Hollywoodbets' favourite-odds the min pick 6 div must be about R784

Anyone give Knock On Wood a chance? Ran 2nd in this race last year. Equipped with blinkers recently, may just sneak it with a top jock aboard.

Looked at fields and some of the graded races look decidedly thin...but then the horse doesn't decide who the opposition is nor the grade of race...

Gauteng racing seems to have lots of high prize-money races but decidedly lacking in quality...maybe because so few out-of-towners make the trek up country, I assume, due to the altitude...this doesn't seem to be the problem in Cape and KZN where most of the best horses in the country normally compete in the best races...

Also, Gauteng horses that have a hard Autumn up country do not run to par when in KZN...case in point being Cherry on the Top...the push to win the Triple Tiara still being felt now as she has not won since winning the Oaks...

I cant understand that on a big race day, the biggest field for the first 4 races has a grand total of 9 horses... terrible...
