Van Gaal will not be joining Man United as the club have announced that they are talking and looking at others. If they were going to go with Van Gaal a deal would have been struck already.

it only came out 15 minutes ago so maybe his price will drift but knowing what the bookies are like they will shorten so that people will bet on him becomming the manager. A lot depends on the Real Madrid result v Bayern. Carlo Ancellotti has Premier League experiance and if Real lose then he may be out of a job.

I thought Van Gaal was going to Tottenham Hotspur after the world cup. What happened to that deal?

Lots of speculation around. I personally would prefer Giggs as a no.2 for now, to perhaps a Van Gaal or Anchelotti.

Make the entire group of Fergie's Fledgelings (excluding Beckham...MLS team and Gary Neville...involved with England team but could be available after World Cup) share the manager role...they have worked together before and will do what is best for Man Utd...they have ALL won titles / trophies aplenty so have the respect of players as fellow winners and have been with Man Utd long enough to do things the Man Utd way...
