Why you confident on cape siskin? Both musical man and hidden dragon beat it last time and it's the same course and distance.

Snaith & Fourie combination done well last few meets here so will be looking for some of the same.

Couple of outsiders with young rider I like (together with Murray) are SHISHENGENI (2/2 over c&d and back down to 6f) and CORNY AL (won on this before) - last 2 races. This kid has a record here that any of the top jocks would be proud of.

Don't think Cape Siskin enjoyed the heavy conditions and jumped awkwardly from his unfavourable draw. Today going is good and a better draw. jmho

Trying something totally different today..... anyway, P/A perm for starters

8,14 x 2 x 5,8 x 1,3 x 4,7 x 1,5 x 12,15 ....Cape Siskin does look the business.. but not for me at the price in a field where anything can happen (dodgem city and max field... more hard luck stories than in Biafra)

Trying to make a case for Neartic Dancer in R5. Very competitive affair in a small field of 8 runners where most like to race handy.Last win was in Jan 2013 with Faydherbe up....back as the pilot again today. Has dropped in the ratings from 98 - 76 today. Has been over the distance before but against stronger. Caught the eye in his last race over 2000m @ Durbanville when it ran on 4t from far back. Who will set the pace as I cannot see this race being a typical 'Cape Crawl' Short odds to get too excited about, but looking forward to this race. Don't think that Das Beste (honest horse) will have a problem with the distance. Bass 1 & 2 ....:D

To me it didn't look like Cape Siskin enjoyed the heavy going and it was drawn in the car park..
Better going,better showing today..

Just been shortened from 6's into 4/1. Don't think this is a race to get involved in, they have punted 4 horses so far, amazingly the favourite hasn't drifted completely off the boards, maybe the bookies are still afraid of this one.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
