Two runners I fancy today, R2 - Latus Blitz, has run it's better races on the inside track, decent value at 11/2, and R4 - Africa's Splendour, hopefully Fish has now worked this horse out and won't let Striker and The Light House get away or else he will be racing for second, again.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I really fancy AGILE COMBAT to be in the first two - I don't think the favourite is the best of animals and his debut was not great (must respect De Kock) - If it were not for the fav's trainer I would back AGILE COMBAT on the nose

Agree with you about fav mr. h. which was beaten by a Zaki horse on debut so for place purposes at least does this make Dumas (rarely out of the places) of interest at maybe decent odds. My own fancy for win purposes is AETON.

We all have our opinions and some of us back them up by our hard-earned cash - for me I think this '2 yr old in open company' for the most part is a lot of hogwash - it depends on the 2 yr old and it's opposition; now I am disappointed that Ginoclock has been scratched, as imo she had no chance over this 1000 - only resulted in a deduction on Flame Cat, who I think was great value at 7/2 - she is very fast and the trainer on USO confirmed that he believed her to be in with a 'massive chance' - according to him Fradd made a mistake in trying to settle her - expect her to come out blitzing today with the blinkers and win easily (tu)

DeVar Hyt - draw and weight makes it tough. But he is gutsy, coming to hand and working very well at home.
Moggytwoshoes - she is just exceptionally well! Coming from behind is the challenge in the fast going. Maybe I should have gone for next week's 1600m race instead, given the going. The race will tell...

CASUAL will go very close today as will FOR THE LADS back over shorter. UNPARALLELED will have come on a great deal from that last start and must be respected - I'm taking these plus AGILE COMBAT in a place yankee(a smaller win yankee also)

For The Lads - geez that one needs big improvement - but I know you won't let me put you off
Two longer shots to keep in mind for places, swingers, etc are Usisi in the 7th (plenty of excuses in her last start and nicely weighted imo) and Fanzene in the 8th (well in here with the allowance)
Enjoy (tu)
