Have the rules changed? cos to me, particularly on the first but on both pens saved, it seemed that the Sevilla keeper Beto was at least a yard off his line when the two saved pens were struck. I was astounded (yes, astounded! ;) ) that they were not ordered to be retaken and could only conclude that the rules must have changed. Two officials on the line, ref in the box and nothing done. If the rules haven't changed it was an absolute disgrace and inexcusable imo (td)(td)(td)

I think that they let them both go was because both of the Benfica takers stuttered in their approach to the kick

No excuse CnC, run-up stuttering is permitted is it not? and the keeper can move but only along the line? Two wrongs certainly don't make a right anyhows, should have been retaken whatever. Very poor.

agree 100% with you. Amazing that as that there were 3 pair of eyes who did not see it. These refs that stand behind the goal are a waste of time imo
