cape boys clean up every year in kzn for as long as i can remember.cape racing getting a raw deal from whoever is in charge of programming and even on the c/over front.cape must share a meeting with kzn,jhb gets stand alone even tho cape cape had the langerman and 2 other features.pe,kzn, jhb and kimb gets c/overs that w/end and cape gets to share a meeting with kzn on daily news day.thats why i love it when the cape boys take all the loot in kzn season and in pe.i know many punters dont even know or believe how weak the std of racing in kzn really is.kzn is the soupmeat capital of sa racing imvho.

Larnie

Think what you may.
WC can have all the stand alone meetings that they want but they will NEVER attract the same massive pools that KZN and Gauteng does even with our "soupmeat".

The "soupmeat" capital is so good that your guys still want a piece of it. I wonder why?

Imagine if the Cape Town trainers were allowed to bring their lower MR horses as well then there would have been very little stakes left over for the Natal trainers>:D>:D

Dennis Drier and Duncan Howells have quality horses that can win anywhere and in any centre, even go to the cape and give it a good go eg. beach beauty, via africa and one cool dude. Imagine if masterofmyfate was around he'd probably be the july favourite. The cape hope futura touted as a july winner was given weight and still beaten fair and square by one cool dude. My personal opinion is that the guateng horses are still better than the cape horses,we just have to look at last year's july day for the facts as most of the races where won by the jhb boys.
