This also happened at the Vaal in Dec..thought they would have learnt..but alas NO!..only when the lost meetings starts to affect the share price downwards will they invest and do something guys.

They repeat themselves endlessy on Tellytrack, but can they make one useful announcement in 40min to let us know whats happening?

For RA/Phum Power Backup Plan

Step1. Fone Eskom to check if planned outage during race meeting.

Step2. If YES then check Generator plus fuel/diesal..If NO still check generator plus fuel/diesal

Step3. If power goes off TURN ON generator.

Please include this very complicated plan into yr standard operating procedures?

love how tellytrack have used the excuse of load shedding for the delay.... thats bullshit, this could've been avoided so easily - great race day experience Mr Basel... you've done us proud

Just as well they're not a hospital carrying out surgeries or the toll would be high.

But it highlights the point that either you care enough to get it right, or not. If it were life or death, then they died.

Fortunately, it's just racing and it doesn't matter that no one gives a shit.

I hope the same no one doesn't blames some poor worker at the bottom, responsibility ALWAYS lies with the General, not the Corporal.

Oscar , i live in the vicinity of Turffontien and every morning i receive an email alert about load shedding in the area.
This mornings mail read ' Load Shedding from 10am to 14h00'.Surely the big guns at turfontein should have known and made plans so that it does not affect racing.
