They only have one world class player and he gets injured to often..

Entry to the comp is now closed but if you still want to join you are welcome to on Tuesday morning once the first round of matches are over

We have 21 players which means at this stage the prize money is R4,200. We will wait for a couple of weeks and see if more join then we will work out 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th prize money and don't forget that we have a Joa jockey hat from Singapore and a replica shirt of your teams choice to give away at the end of the season (all names in a hat and a draw for the shirt) Thanks again for all who have joined.

I will have the first weeks results up by Tuesday morning at the lates as the last game is on Monday night.. A thread for results and banter will be opened.

going into Sundays matches we have an early leader with a healthy 19 points (kristieN) followed on 15 points by Marc Lingard with Bob in 3rd place with 13.

with one match to go in week one we have 3 guys who are doing really well with Marc Lingard leading the way with 28 points followed by S Reddy on 24 and in 3rd with 23 points is KristieN

no problem

5 points for scoring a goal
2 points for an assist
5 points for a keeper and defender for keeping a clean sheet
5 points for a keeper if he saves a penalty (even if the kick goes wide or hits the woodwork)

minus 1 point for a yellow card
minus 2 points for a red card
minus 1 point for every goal conceded (keeper and defender)
minus 1 point if your player misses a penalty kick
minus 1 point for any of your players scoring an own goal. obviously another if the player is the keeper or a defender
double points scored for your captain (he does not lose double points if he gets carded or in the case of been a defender, concedes a goal)

I watch all the matches that are broadcast live on BT sport and Sky sports and watch Match of the Day to double check yellow cards etc as well as read the papers to double double check all of the above.

Lovern -1 conceded a goal

Sterling 7 scored a goal and assisted in another
Mata 0 points
Oscar still to play
Erickson 0

Sanchez 2 assisted in a goal
Dceko 4 points, he assisted in a goal and as he is your captain he gets double points

Stones -2 conceded two goals
Cleverly 0 he did not play
Bony 0

Also if any of any players player leaves in the transfer window you can change him. I am sure that we are all in this for fun as well and it would be an unfair advantage if one or two guys have 13 or even 12 players. Thanks.
