100% Catsmug. Africa time cannot be implemented everywhere. Police are late to respond to a crime scene, ambulances are late, everything late,late,late... Hats of to Mango!!!

If it applies to me it applies to everyone.

El, no matter where you are in the world - NO airline is gonna allow you only a 20min window of opportunity to a) check in b) clear security c) get to the gate.

You were too late - if they started to allow such lateness as a rule no one would ever get anywhere on time - period.

Sorry El, you ain't got a leg to stand on - on this one - lol!

Jim.

Jamster I agree with all views.

BUT WHY WAS IT BROKEN FOR A CERTAIN INDIVIDUAL.

I spoke to a Manager this morning who said the customer called to notify she was stuck in traffic and if they could please hold the flight for her.

I was at the gate and they could not allow me in. I was watching people still boarding.

All of you that feel I was wrong and hats off to Mango have never had the rules bent for you ?

When it suits you to have someone break a rule for you then its fine.

Well, if they held the gate open for several minutes for a.n.other, then I can understand your anger. They could have quite rightly also allowed you on as you were infact there before said a.n.other, and therebu not holding up an already held up flight... I think lol!

Well my brain well and truely hurts now - happy punting at least!!

El Piche i don't always agree with you, this time i do.
My departure time was 06:15 last week Tuesday. It will take me max. 30 min to get to the Airport. Left my house at 04:00 . On the way roads blocked next to Alberton traffic acident. I arrived at the airport 05:20 still looking for parking. Booked in at 05:40 no problem. Your person that dealt with you was full of shit.
