Hunting Tower should be a big runner Alcaponee but Pocket Power should be hard to beat.

If Pocket Power stays sound he will shit, there is no horse to touch him. He would have gone overseas this already if the right race was found.

I think Pocket Powers talent is wasted in South Africa, he's better than Jay Peg and Sun Classique (ask Mike Bass what he thinks) who have proved themselves to be world beaters.

Its time for the bookies to get smashed by the Pocket once again!

Hunting Tower has once again won nothing and the weights should be in his favour as per last year. If Anton rides him and he has 55KG again, I reckon it will be a good bet again as per last year.

Is Mr Laird supposedly aiming this one for DOUBLE? They do it all the time in the UK.

Have to agree with Dr Who.... the 3 year olds are overrated this year - especially the JHB 3 year olds... just watch what wins the derby - every 3 year old race in jhb has been won by an unfancied sort this season - nothing has been good enough to feature prominantly throughout the season.... usually the dingaans is a good pointer - what has lions blood done since???? think its an incredibly open race this year - bit early for me

(ps - think dancers daughter will be a better older horse - not for me this year)
