Had no power on Friday evening from 6-8pm

Last night was at Gateway from around 6pm - NO POWER!!!

I didn't expect Gateway to get affected but they did - caused some havoc as well

All restaurants took over an hour to get their systems on-line for payments etc.

We also had a nightmare at pub will be getting a generator on Monday

sorry to hear that Dave but this is SA - anything is possible

Maybe get Eskom to cover the cost of the generator as this is their mess up that impacts everyone else

Service delivery is unacceptable and non existent

I wonder if the Race courses have emergency generators.

It did impact me today. Could not watch the summercup panel discussion. But all thanks to The Duke and Rob Faux for filling us in on what transpired at the discussion. Lights finally on now.

We had load shedding some time during the night on Saturday, It was after 11pm as no problems up to then. At around 9am I heard some cursing coming from my son who had woken up to his marine tank being full of dead fish. A total of 9 of the 13 didnt make it. :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

Tell your son to get some battery powered powerheads, relatively cheap compared to the cost
of a marine set up , about 100 bucks each

Thanks Soodum he already has these. The loadshedding that occurred was not on the schedule and followed 3 hours of loadshedding that afternoon :angry:
