With the tailwind it is sometimes very difficult to run a handy galloper down if you sitting off the pace. Captain Alfredo looks like a very useful sort but then Karl will have to be up close to give him every chance.
Western Movie and Bold Var will ensure that he has to run hard to get to the line in front.

Race 4 - I originally liked Dressed in Cotton but not sure if the tailwind will suit him. I also like Bold Var each way in an open race.
Race 5 - looks open and Friendly Tibbs off a reduced MR looks well in here on the strength of his 4th to Power King at level weights.
Race 6 - another open one and O'chee Pan is again c & d suited. Let me down last time and have him to place in my multiples.
Race 7 - Hurricane Wind has run some decent races and could be value here.

I understand that captain alfredo was up in class today but surely to run second last was not what we expected today. And jawad fourie just got a life now.

Boys a 3 year old running against some decent older horses.....You have to be very brave to back it. Also any 3 year old in handicap company carrying anything more than 52 kg's needs to be very good. It is well documented that the 3 year olds are struggling in open company this year.
I like French Revolution here in the next. He is very good methinks and i think Plattner wants to make a stallion out of him.......
