im hearing that legal eagle ran to a 120mr yesterday and imo if this race was run at a fair racecourse and getting zero extra weight for his win yday he would be close to 15 to 10 nevermind 3 to 1 to win...with 18 runners and his style of running he is going to have plenty luck go his way especially never having raced there before and nobody is going to do him and the likes of French navy any favours ..this is a very rough race and the new narrower racecourse wont do any horse any favours ..you cannot change a way a horse likes to run

last year was a shambles with the new configuration of the grass track ..many horses chances were ruined after a furlong...

if I had plenty nominations like mr tarry I wouldn't scratch anything and hope that one of mr van niekerks should we say no hopers get a run and use it as a pacemakers as legal eagle and French navy would enjoy a hot pace on..pine princess looks a likely pacemaker but she doesn't set the quickest fractions in the world
