May i ask why everyone fancies Lindelize at evens, even though this is a weak maiden plate the formlines are not very encouraging, not saying it won't win, have her in my pa but certainly no value at that price imo... I have included School of Dynasty as i feel she will improve over the distance.

@Bayern- Stable comment.
Meissa is well and has a good winning chance today, along with stable companion Mr Mulliner who is not out of it at the weights

I see Gav Lerena is 'medically indisposed' - hopefully only a minor injury or a touch of 'flu - could give Bling some renewed inspiration :ohmy:
Some thoughts ...........
R1: Jockeyship will be a factor - having said that Rose of Castille much too short imo for a horse that has not gone the trip; my first choice is Icy Breeze - holds both Spurwing Summer and Global Spin at the weights - but can't ignore RoC
R2: Again I think the fav is much too short - on a line through Youcanrockme, Rock of Laudium holds Lindelize - so RoL much better priced at 4/1 - improver could be School of Dynasty who should appreciate the step up in trip and has a nice draw - both Tales of Mambo and Suzie Wong come out of a very weak formline - so not for me
R3: Hypothermic looks the right one - and better value imo than the first two favorites - Rainy Day Blues and Beluga Berry probably looking for that 2nd cheque while Windigo looks well held by H on a line through Roman Calamity; True as an Arrow possible roughie from an in-form stable to consider for trifectas and quartets
R4: Lions Emblem in top form and sure to be right there again; Coby best in so must have an obvious chance as well; S'il Vous Plait tries the blinkers - has been off form but has a definite chance at these weights if he can reproduce his best runs; winner should come from one of these 3
R5: Competitve filles and mares handicap - not a lot between the top five in the betting and any could pop up - Muskogee looks the value for places from a good draw.
R6: Interesting handicap - I really fancied Mr Mulliner last time, but he was disappointing in a race he should have won at the weights - did cast a shoe in that race, but is on par with Brad's Surge on that run, so I have my reservations today; Fah Fee looks well treated by the handicapper - ran off 86 when less than 3 lengths behind Ertijaal at level weights - today still only at 87 - may be better over 1600, but is a winner over this trip and I think he will go very close again; Meissa has 100% record over this trip and also won off 96 - so I think he will be competitive today and I prefer him over his stable companion; Steelwing also needs consideration in bigger perms - should hold Brad's Surge on the run behind Morpheus and also has quite a big swing at the weights with Fah-Fee
R7: Low level handicap where 3 stand out for me; Celtic King is running well and has the advantage of pole position - obvious chance; Al Firenze won his only race in a handicap over this trip from a wide draw - only comes in today at 2 points higher - so another with a clear chance; Fort Navidad gets weight from both CK and AF and with Striker now riding is my first choice - must have a lively chance as well on his run over 1600 at this track when finishing less than 3 lengths behind Pivotal Pursuit (twice a winner since) and FN has been dropped 5 points
R8: Another low level handicap to close - I think Clean Cut should be the right one - last run was over this trip and finished 3rd behind two subsequent winners - got dropped 3 points for that effort, so should feature prominently from a good draw; stable mate Cannes comes off an improved last effort, but that was a 1200 down the Vaal straight, so not sure he has the speed to feature over this 1000; Katch takes on the boys and has a widish draw - place chance imo; Fleetfoot Mac comes back to the 1000 - has a nice draw and could hold on for a place in this weak field
Enjoy
