Despite the support for Nassa I am taking my chances on Royal Badge.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

What stood out the most in the parade ring was ...

Adam Marcus gesticulating forcefully and giving non stop instructions. Looks like it's be up there with the pace and let Royal Badge go with a furlong or two left

Royal Badge floated down to the post and looks like a big bet for me

Exactly Bayern. Why be taking 10/3 on a 7/1 shot or even a 4/1 shot as it ended up I believe (4/1 was the final Betffair price)? I can understand it being supported but over 1/3rd of the total money when bigger prices available elsewhere? Smacks of people who can't bet at bookies any longer and the % win on it at Betfair too much in that field at too short a price imo for it to be based solely on "form reading". Think Dean (well done) was the only one who favoured it here. Personally I had it between the 2nd and 3rd. Too much money at too short a price... this is at least one a CT meeting at the moment and I'm not even trying to monitor it properly, only looked at that race cos I quite liked In Full Regalia.

Basically, put the form books away in CT and rather study Betfair exchange. Not easy sometimes but I am sure it will often tell you more than any form book.

Good Grace
Event: Race 7, FM 84 Handicap (F & M)
Distance: 1800m
Pre-race Comments: She has improved a lot, doing very well at home and from a good draw and weight, she must have a good each way chance again.

mike bass's comments re good grace.

Good Grace must be the most mulish filly I have ever seen in my life.

How she has won any races I just don't know.

Whenever I see her run she just doesn't go an inch.
