Not having a great day either - got those rainy day blues and it is not even raining......Var Bay much better off at the weights with Cumberland and Nr Mulliner - nicely drawn - 16/1 good enough for me.

Might not have won anyway, but I thought a very poor ride on Var Bay - let all the others pass him at the top of the straight, then got him to run on for 200 m - only to ease him up in the last 100 - should be an inquiry imo - if the horse is ok, the jock should get a suspension
