I have been pointing out the unfairness of not having proportional take-out for years .......................It pours with rain but the tote gets its full chop.
Bearing in mind that the tote is licenced to facilitate bets only,but because it takes its full take-out on a partially completed bet,the result is a payout of 90c,so instead of losing punters losing to winning punters,as it should be, ALL PUNTERS lose to the operator! :evil:
Some time ago some smart fellow ( I think he might have been an actuary) did some tables showing the effect on net pools of partially completed exotics .....even missing a race or 2 of an exotic has a very adverse effect on the value!

Guys ... please note that to my surprise this morning, I was pleased to see that my FULL investment on the PA was refunded.
