4.50 Curragh
It's not the name that I like.
Flowerhill Nova ran a great race on first turf run over this 6f trip when 2nd in a Naas handicap of a rating of 75. His 2 best runs were his only 2 runs over this 6f trip.Slattery's horses are running well and Dec McDonogh who was on last time is back on board.
This is not a strong maiden for this track.Ive taken 5/1 ew.Theres some 11/2 around with the shite firms.

R7 Epsom Shared Equity E/W. Very well handicapped and is now back at his best distance. Likes a bit of cut in the ground and has a decent draw. Can make the first four at least in a race which isn't particularly strong for the grade. 7/1 (widely available) or bigger is a decent E/W price.

Showed promise as a chaser last season before a bad fall at Doncaster sent him back over hurdles. Given his recent hurdling wins, I can't believe Alan King would be putting him back over fences if the horse hadn't schooled well. Likes good ground, will have no problems with the trip and gets weight from his two main rivals. If jumping satisfactorily, he will be hard to beat. 7/4 is a very good price - and probably won't last.
