Amazing all the Jooste horses: "will come back with Jock"....as if to say they don't want it public knowledge yet meanwhile they've all been booked already! Why?

Strydom will ride Samurai Blade if his ride doesn't qualify.

Being very selfish here. Wish Striker's ride does not qualify. I have always fancied a rated Samurai Blade. If Striker's on, would be a bonus.

Since SA Horseracing has taken the info away, does any shrewdy have the log (as it stands) at 11am scratchings? In order of log standing. Just before 11am I saw Olma was the last scratching, and 26 runners. Not sure if any further scratchings happened?

Racing fans around the country will be glued to their television sets on Tuesday 21 June when the live announcement of the final field for the 2016 Gr1 Vodacom Durban July is made on Tellytrack (Dstv 239) at 12h50.

The barrier draw announcement will be at 14h00.

The public gallops for the big race will be held from 07h00 on Thursday 23 June and will also be covered live by Tellytrack.

Im sure GC has given this a lot of thought......... What happens if your horse is a borderline case , for getting in, how do you attend the draws if you are from out of town ? :huh:
