imo you can never begrudge the owner if he accepts a lucritive offer. For us small yards its a killer blow, but the client deserves it at the end of the day. They've tried on both of mine and both times my guys and girls declined.JJ was straight after senor santa,so how arsie am i.

Lucky is saying that he is 'lucky',as the owners were made an offer after the race named after Senor Santa, which they refused. The horse has obviously subsequently gone on to win the Computaform Sprint and the Golden Horse Sprint,so Grecko would not have picked up the stakes from those races if the horse had been sold-CLEARLY!I knew you couldn't write properly HH,but I thought you could at least read.Maybe you need to go back to school yourself, with your kids

The stable is not a two-year-old stable so must have huge potential at three

thanks for the kind words mr hawaai, unfortunately she injured herself at about the junction and couldnt give off her best..fortunately for us it is nothing major and she needs good old fashioned rest up to 3 mths...catsmug i disagree with your calling of the race and that forest path is not a good horse but thats your opinion so lets leave it at that..anyway guys thanks for all your support and kind words and i will be supporting your horses when they run...

SAW is/will be a top filly. Forest Path is a very good colt - watch him in the Umkhomazi on Sat.
Form of Allan Robertson looks suspect, as the two favourites filled the last two positions, and it was comfortably the slowest of the 4 Gr1 sprints(over a second slower than the other three).

Hi Pirates
I hear that Gary Alexander returned from Scottsville with several of his horses sore. Fair Brutus also did not enjoy the course.
Apparently there is a layer of bark chip laid down underneath which makes the foothold unsteady.
I saw your filly in the race and thought she must have got an injury in running. Just hope she recovers and comes back at her best.
