5/1 looks reasonable Dubliner, ran against the blind school the last time but another stride and she wins

8 years 11 months agoYet again Bob & it's allways the 1 I'm on at the minute. Though favourites no guarantees to win races the South African ones are to hard to judge. Grrr. I think half these bookies & jockeys must read the forum see where the money's going. I was hoping for a better tun here never mind. I think I'll do what some of the others do stick to the English & USA racing.Bob Brogan wrote: Fav went down like a mental case

Happens in all countries, runners run their races before the start, in this case Marcus done a great job gettimg him to calm down after originally behaving like a loon

Looks like I have to wait the whole day for some action.
I like Banner Hill in race 7, he enjoyed this course and distance lto and toyed with a not-so-bad field. he only got seven pounds for that effort which I consider to be very kind for this progressive 3yo. 3/1 isn't much but still a decent enough price.
In race 8 Sky Fire is my kind of a horse. she's still very much unexposed in this low-class handicap where everything else seems to have peaked. In the three runs to date she showed enough promise to 'come right' when conditions are right. 16/1 is worth waiting for.

The fact that there was such a long delay probably helped this horse as well. Looked a lot more relaxed as it went into the gates. Not a hard luck story, just found a few better than him on the day.
