The bookies must have a smile from ear to ear when they hear a fav is having it's shoe re-fitted as most of the time they don't win.

Pretty awful it was......
I would love for the trainers to also have to declare when their horses run in bandages.....
I am superstitious in that I will never back a horse with bandages, even if he is perceived to be sound.....
Why run in bandages if they are sound or not knocking themselves behind. And if they are knocking themselves, then surely they will feel something during the race!

For what its worth, I once read in some book that you can ignore back-leg bandages but front-leg bandages are a bad thing.
