KZN top rider coming back empty handed... Eish. The boys up north know how to safe guard their territory. Its been a barren few days.

Bull Valley is going to have a massive season if he stays injury free!

A rather exceptional days racing imo - a typical Highveld thunderstorm followed by a lovely late afternoon / evening - congrats to all the winners - especially to Gavin and the Janse v Vuuren yard - he has the stock, but he also knows how to get the best out of them.

Some rather impressive performance by the equines as well - New Predator fought them off like a top horse and the 3 yr olds in the 8th certainly put up their hands - and Singapore Sling showed that he is right up there.

On a personal note, after a bad start I managed to end in good fashion - had a few rand on New Predator at 7's earlier in the week before I convinced myself that others were better weighted; then took two horses by two horses in the last double - and they ran 1st and 2nd in the 9th and 1st and 2nd in the 10th

On the negative side St Tropez ran disappointingly after hitting the front 400 out - I think I have to start looking for another Summer Cup horse - Deo Juvente certainly caught the eye today

Also had a good day on deck and a fun day racing photos to follow
