7/1 into 17/10
My thoughts:
10000/1400 Full claim adjusted into 4/1
10000/2500 Full claim adjusted into 5/2
10000/4000 Full claim adjusted into current price
So 8 grand on the horse, give or take a grand at best, our bookies deserve the shit reputation that they have.

Does BODS still exist? The bookies should involve much more bookmakers in sharing the risk, by spreading the liability they can increase their limits and we will have truer markets. Maybe they can increase the minimum claim amount. Like you point out OTA, it hasn't taken much money to shorten the Drier horse in race1.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Besides those prices shortening due to small amounts as ota has highlighted i have seen online bookies simply adjust prices because of small amounts traded on interbet and also while under starters orders is aired and a pundit or a trainer being interviewed states a strong case for their horses chances.

For the Rubyana fans - I'd take some cover on Figure of Grey. This trip over the new course should produce her best effort and she could be the one Rubyana will be closing down close to the line. Easy cover at around 8's.

Bayern,Juddering Angel has gone out to 25-2 with Hollywoods that's a good price but why drifting so much from 7-2?

I unfortunately cannot explain the drift. If there is a problem with the horse, then surely it's up to the stable to have the horse scratched.
The flip side to that, maybe the bookies are trying to discourage people from backing it by drifting it. I remember seeing this sort of thing in a program uploaded by Mr. Hawaii, where the bookies drifted the horse to "discourage people from backing it" - I am not saying this is the case here.
I don't know what the reason is, but it too late for me to change my mind as I have placed the bet already.

I backed Juddering Angel at that price. ...made sense to me....but I do make Banner Hill the likely winner
