Kapitan, only has Joey Piper to beat . Kapitan has dropped to a nice mark and ran second to a good sort who won again next time out.

R1 Inn a million got some evens about this one. Didn't go for him last time as I was waiting for him to come back to a galloping track. Back at the Vaal life be very surprised if he doesn't win. Only surprise is that Semela doesn't keep the ride. Hope solo should be there and thereabouts but for place money is include Zingana.

R2 Some very well bred individuals. Let it flow of the raced runners back to the Vaal straight should go very close despite the draw. Strydom' ride nicely bred and has the draw so worthy inclusion for the bipot.

R3 Surcharge very nicely bred and obviously deserves inclusion. Opened around 8/1 and now into around 3's so you've gotta respect the money. One thing I can't workout is that Marcus is up for a couple of rides none of which are stand outs on breeding so maybe worth including him on that basis. Not convinced on too many of the others.

R4 Balclutha another who's well bred and hasn't had a whole lot of luck, so could be anything, full sister to a 6 time winner Bermuda sloop. Half a bar is of some place value back over a suitable trip.

R5 September bloom if better drawn I would have made a great bet, anything in the formlines with btwenty1, silken, Dalley etc gets my attention and therefore despite the draw make her a big runner. Burning rock also of some nice value.

R6 Am in agreement with sentiments regarding sergeant pepper, should run a nice race and again at some nice value. Red rebel also a worthy inclusion with no weight on his back.

R7 Very tricky race in that you can make a case for many of the runners. Porcupine creek definitely worth inclusion and will also include woody cape as well as peg o my heart with a bit of luck in running to be running at them in the closing stages. Best of luck to Ziets with his couple of "raiders" RM must have a chance.

R8 Agree with sentiments re Kapitan, makes some appeal and will make Joey Piper run. JP definitely has some ability and may be over his issues so also should run a good race.

R9 Another race where many make appeal. If pushed for a selection I'd be with at a glance at around 7's but not awfully up beat about anything so will include a bunch.

Will play a place all to come
Half a bar
September bloom
Sergeant pepper
Kapitan
At a glance.

Best bet being inn a million.

Enjoy the nice big fields and a refreshing earlier start to racing.

All the best fellas.
