45k for last Noble Tune, but considering that you could get many for 20k from established sires, not that concerned

I see this sale set the record for not sold - 121 - the previous record for this sale was in 2004 - 77- to make things worse the horses were there to sell as there were only 6 buy-backs ...which is the first time this was a single figure since it was recorded in 2012.
For me the problem is that there are not enough small or syndicate buyers around - The smaller trainer is also a dying breed and it is these guys that would in past years snapped up all the cheap horses for entry level owners. I see a few Zim trainers buying - imagine if racing dies there how many more cheap horses would not find a home.
I wish I had a solution but I don't

I to wish I had the answer , however some of the Answers my be included in Turf Talk today - Attached - The RA daily news - Is it a responsibility of the RA to introduce new owners or just look after their current Members
