The details around the share offer is on the RA website, under "Quick Links".

Basically its shares held by the RA that they are offering to their members at R17,39, which is the price that the RA subscribed for it.

......I hear that the price is linked to the rights offer of last year when Phumelela issued additional shares to joe public to raise capital for the purchase of Superbets....this was under subscribed and now being offered again.....through the R A as a "special" at last year's price......personally I would never get involved in taking shares in a company that patently has poor management with no idea to improve on performance.... :S

muhtiman you are wrong the rights issue was significantly oversubscribed.
the r a obviously received an allocation as share holders .they have decided to pass on some or all i cant work out yet of the allocation to the members of the r a. reading the above i wonder if they are allowed to pass any benefit onto their members or are obliged to follow the issue
themselves

A Year ago Phumelela shares were R24. The RA mugs who fell into the trap were offered shares at R17-39 when the shares were trading at R19-60. Today the share has bled to R17-80 and all indications are that these sheep will be bleeding very soon.

Well done Larry I wonder what chop you received for selling your members down the river?

OTA I agree and disagree with you.

I agree Larry is a chop. He is a big one at that.

The worse the Rand gets the better for Pumelela. Its entire business is focused on the Rand being poor.

Nothing beneficial to members would ever be offered if there were an upside for these insatiable strippers. If you look at the purchasing of P shares by Jooste, Kantor, Du Plessis and the rest of the Steinhoff/Investec crew, why should they have been offered in the first place unless no value was seen.
