I know that the horse is bred for middle distance but Doublemint (Twice Over colt) may just surprise in the opener.

Courtisan - nice easy look-in on debut - I would think will eventually need 1400-1800m the way she found her legs late - I think she could go in here -
Proud Dynasty is limited but could go in today - also a grey like Courtisain - The one that does worry me is Made To Conquer, who if he returns to Gauteng form he wins this so possibly tote dbl banker Courtisan with these 2

The Bass stable didn't really like either of their first time winners today so maybe those two are ones to watch if they needed their runs today and a longer distance.
