Anti-Climax? Why

I was looking to see sommerlied establish herself as something --- but never happened. There was a lot of hype around shufoog - nothing materialized.......anti-climax from that perspective.

Huge Head win , Murry had no cover rode a shocker - zero blance in the 200m - Difference between Marcus and these up and coming , Dont write her off just yet , infact draw a line through ,

Was definitely all Murray haha! A maiden winner was taking on some very good horses, on a course she has never been at,. she was on the wrong side of the track, had a high head carriage and yet it was Murray who gave it a shocker... Pocket!

OK Not from the pocket - just saying dont think racing her up there on the inside 2nd time out was great tactic.

i keep saying you can't back a kzn horse in cape features.these horses like somerlied, billy silver etc look like superstars when they beat the blind school with ease in kzn,but when they race in the cape in features they are facing much stronger opposition.there is a huge difference in class between kzn horses and cape horses and the sooner the punters realise this the better off they will be.to all those who backed a former cape fillies guinneas winner, well done.

I fully agree - not to be written off, Shufoog --- looks very decent.

Sommerlied and Live Life had no business to be fancied
Shufoog needed the experience

[1, 16]/[1, 12, 16]/[1, 2, 3, 4, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16]/[2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16]

?? Live Life is a top class horse --- and proved it with that run --- It had no business starting at R13.80 the win and R 4.00 the place --that is what real value is all about :)

every 3rd post of yours usually keeps putting down KZN horses. We get it - you don't rate them but jeepers you say this literally after every Cape feature race.

And you're wrong about Sommerlied btw - Just the other week she won the listed Laisserfaire Stakes - if I'm not wrong that would qualify as a feature :woohoo:

The last race is contested by a whole lot of evenly matched horses - hard to say. Snaith looks to have a powerful hand - and I preferred Fifty Cents , which got me out of trouble the other day. But if the jockey on Turbulent Air means anything then that looks a strong runner. But better to call it quits for what has been a very good day all around - some nice performances.

favourite looks the right one off the run to Doosra --- but as said best not to engage and spoil my day.
