I think you need to study form 3 days before if you got ample time. Going thru each horse not jus looking at past 3 runs reflected on tabsheets. If you got little time first look at last Race going back cz as punters we tend to get tired srudying and those last handicapped races bring upset results.
On the race day place your bet after observing current trends like draws, going, trainer and jockeys that won the first 2 or 3 races. Its most ideal to have 2 bankers and SMELL the legs which bring upset.

BUT I CAN TELL U THAT BAYERN STRIKE RATE IS OUT OF THE TOP DRAW
AND HE KNOWS HIS STUFF.
I HAVE FOLLOWED SELECTIONS FOR VERY LONG.
And its better than ur 4 weeks or so since u joined this site.

Race 6. fairly open Winner should come from Redeemer, Dark Moon Rising and Verdier. I will add Baltic Amber in my bets.
Sunset Eyes, Monte Christo (reminds me of Midrand) and Amazon King. I also keep on looking at Ryker (not sure if I will include)
Last race...Include as many as you can....my choices are 8/11/4/5/2/1

At 20/1 a win and 26/10 a place Black Devon bring some turf maiden form and we have seen that Gauteng maiden form is far stronger than that of KZN
