The going is very soft- pen is 30, but it does not look like there will be much more rain today.
Race 1: The Suit has good form but the expensive Charles has been priced up favourite so must be respected.
Race 2: Shamrock Wind put up a good debut and is the one to beat. Doubled Over has consistent form and should earn a cheque. Miss Plumcake was well beaten on debut by a very promising filly, and with normal improvement should be in the shakeup.
Race 3: Muscari and Ikebana should fight this out.
Race 4: Tricky handicap but Friendly Tibbs, is slightly preferred to Gimme One Night and Mac De Lago.
Race 5: The Silva Fox should get his maiden win here, but quite an open race, and not clear if there will be a proper pace.
Race 6: Blue Flower has been leniently treated after her maiden win and could follow up in this weak handicap at attractive 8/1, in an open race.
Race 7: Dalibhunga is consistent and could go in again in an open race.
Race 8: Dream Dancer has scope for further improvement and should enjoy the step up in trip but a skinny price in a very open race. We have Angel of Athens returning from a long break to overcome an injury. She has had a couple of gallops, and is reasonably fit but jumps from a wide draw and she is better over further, so we are just hoping that she runs on and confirms her wellbeing today.
