I have not always agreed with Craig. That's life. However, I am pleased to note that I have agreed with him a lot more than not.
But, you will search far and wide to find someone more dedicated to Racing overall, who supports KZN Racing in particular
more than him and for someone who will give his all for the betterment of Racing.
For me, Craig's decision is a big loss to Racing. I wish him well with whatever he does, going forward and pray that he stays in touch.
Overall, one of the really good guys.

The best decision you have ever made Craig. I left racing years ago and my life changed for the better. Things are really much better and less stressful. Having also worked elsewhere in the world as you did in racing, I could see there was no future in SA racing. Sadly it is run by people who can’t look inward to improve things and take constructive criticism as bringing racing into disrepute when all they do everyday is bring racing into disrepute! I now enjoy racing world wide and locally from a distance but only from a spectator view. Good luck for the future and I’m sure you’ll be much happier and less stressed. Racing will miss your input.
Wendy is a very good trainer and I helped out while she was at the sales and in Cape Town last week. It also allows me to help other trainers with saddling at the races when they cannot be there.
