Fourie is very average and he is better than most, tough times ahead for punters

I thought some great racing today and the Met did not disappoint.
Rainbow Bridge and Do it again both Storming runs both had a bit to do and Legal Eagle showed he is far from done also coming from behind.
Cirrillo and One World were impressive and Clouds Unfold was a bit of a suprise in the field that she won so well...
Kasimir likewise was very impressive over what I thought might be a smidge short on the day
As Ziets says though some ratings going to be interesting

Just my opinion
For the record - imo his ride on Strathdon was really not his best ......
Opinions are what make racing what it is. Alternatively they are like arseholes we all have one.
What Fourie did wrong was allow himself to be behind Rainbow Bridge at the 400. Any thinking jockey who did his homework would have factored in the finish of the winner. Although he beat RB in both the Green Point and QP, RB finished well in both races. Just my opinion.
The ride on Strathdon was worse.

.......have not been able to see the replay on Strathdon and although he is no star either had him as my roving banker and he still filled the places so it did not matter how he was ridden.....but in the Met.... Do It Again did not travel well and reported in interviews by the connections later that Fourie had to work on his mount through out the race to keep him interested.....for that reason he found himself behind RB and others.....:S
