Race 1 - Gimmetherain 4/1
Nice return back to from LTO behind the very impressive Cabo da cruz.
Should go well here and can go one better.
Race 2 - What a Summer 11/2
Race 3 - Vandah's Spirit 3/1
Super Impressive debut after being slow away. It's rare to see a juvenile come out slow and win but she did it and did it easily.
Lovely turn of foot and she can go close here.
CTS 1200 - Cirillo 16/10, Temple Grafin 10/1, Arabian Air 25/1
Cirillo is a top sort who ran a good race in 4th in the Guineas last time. We've since seen Soqrat run a blinder in the QP and TOF hack up in the Politician.
The drop in distance will only suit him. We saw how easily he dispatched a similar field in the RTR from a wide draw.
He's going to be hard to beat.
Temple Grafin is a smart sort. Ignore her run LTO as it was too far. She has tons of speed and should Cirillo flop, she can pick up the pieces.
Also couldn't ignore a small win bet on Arabian Air who has always been highly rated, infact early on, they thought more of him than TOF. (See his 2nd start where he started fav over him)
Now he's gelded and could show why he was so highly rated.
CTS 1600 - Twist of Fate 5/2, Majestic Mozart 10/1
Twist of Fate is a lot like his dad, in that he's a strong frontrunner and is tough as nails.
The step up in trip + a wide draw was not enough to lower his colours and having beaten One World in the Guineas, he can re-confirm the form here.
The change in jockey does worry me though as Bernard really knew how to ride him but fingers crossed.
Majestic Mozart is another improving horse who slightly disappointed in the Guineas but I thought he was too handy and the slow pace was not to his liking.
Hope he gets a faster pace here and he sits further back and the turn of foot in prior outings can be seen in full effect here.
Of the others, obviously One World and Chimichuri Run could easily put their best foot forward and win it.
Of the balance, I rate Vardy and he'll be a top horse in future - just think this might come too soon.
Cape Flying - Pacific Trader 4/1, Bold Respect 13/2
I thought Pacific Trader's win was outstanding LTO and even thought Kasimir has a strong pull at the weights, I think there's still improvement in Pacific Trader to come.
Bold Respect is proven GR 1 quality and has maybe been slightly below par in his two runs but even so, surely he's been prepped for this.
Top, top sprinter when he's out in front(see the Gold Medallion) and he can definitely pick up another GR 1 here.
Cape Derby - Bunker Hunt 6/1, Belgarion 10/1
I was extremely disappointed to see Bunker Hunt's unfortunate incident at the start LTO.
Would have interesting to see where he stacked up to TOF who's a great yardstick.
But anyway his prior form was faultless and the step up to the Derby trip will be no problem.
He's a big runner.
Loved Belgarion's run last time. Was someway off his ground turning for home and made up good ground on the inside with an eye-catching finish.
All the scope in the world, will love the trip and I expect him to be finishing fast at the end.
Majorca - Front and Centre 5/2
Had my biggest bet of the year on her in the Fillies Guineas and she never gave me a moments panic at any stage.
I, like Anton Marcus, expected her to win easier but she had had a injury prior to that race and that last race was technically her second run after rest.
Still, she came through it with flying colours and Clouds Unfold later boosted that form with a cracking win.
She should make further improvement and be at her peak now.
Is she good enough to beat Snowdance and Lady in Black?
We'll find out later…
The Sun Met - Do it Again 15/10, Head Honcho saver @ 12/1
Race 10 - Pacific Chestnut 14/1, Ballad of the Sea 20/1
Race 11 - Cat Daddy 3/1, Saint West 8/1
Race 12 - Russet Air 7/2
Was too tired to type reasons for the other selections. Enjoy!

Leg 1: 1,2,9
Leg 2: Banker 1 (maybe add 2)
Leg 3: 1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,15
Leg 4: 2,3,6,7,9,12,18
Leg 5: 1,2,12
Leg 6: Banker 7 (maybe add 1,9,12,13)
R693 if I play the 2 bankers 28.8% will surely be a handsome reward
R6930 if play all selections 0.028% Will it pay enough?
Question is: R200 Budget???? Probably stick to the 1st option
Have fun all
Definitely a day for playing a small perm and hoping for best ..
