Flat jockey Fran Berry has retired from the saddle with immediate effect.
The 38-year-old suffered spinal injuries in a fall at Wolverhampton in January - and after consultation with his surgeon, he has been advised to quit race-riding.

The Champions League another kettle of fish with plenty great clashes to keep us glued to the box.
City 5/2 Barcelona 7/2 Juve 4/1 Pool 9/2 United 25/1 with Spurs AJAX worth a punt at 50/1 and Porto 100/1.
Still early doors but happy with the result tonight AJAX going strong ...

Pity .....
Almond Eye, the Japanese-trained super-filly who won her country's fillies' triple crown and last year's Japan Cup, has been ruled out of a tilt at the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in October.

Rumours that TDH won't be taking his place in the 2,000 Guineas field.

European champion juvenile Too Darn Hot was on Saturday ruled out of the Qipco 2,000 Guineas by trainer John Gosden.
The colt had been a warm ante-post favourite for the first Classic of the season at Newmarket on Saturday week, having won all four of his starts last year culminating in a dazzling Dewhurst victory.

Persian King is a monster and will win the Guineas should he come over. Please send him over Mr Fabre!

MOMF
You could be spot on there its last race winning over a mile by 5 lenghts at 1/5 was very impressive.
The price is 4/1 and double the price available due to the possibility that it might not come over?
Might be worth the chance as it does now look the right one.
Ten Sovereigns 3/1
Persian King 4/1
Magna Grecia 6/1
Skardue 6/1 ( Molly selection) i managed to secure him a bit 33/1 for a few sharpies
Royal Marine 8/1
Mohaather 10/1

Just read an interview with Fabre where he said its highly unlikely that Persian King will run in the English Guineas and instead will go for the French Guineas/Derby route
FFS!!
Skardu for me now.
