Race 1 Wine Tasting the best ofthose that have run
Race 2 The 2yos seem to have this one. Lots of first timers. Marengo good debut. Captain Morisco fair debut. Accomplished good form before the break.
Race 3 Blue Spark should get his reward for consistency today. Dangers are Bravo One, El Romiachi, Fifth of July
Race 4 Not much between Anatura, Birdwatcher, Charming Lass, Princess Zena

Race 5 Very open. My shortlist is True Words, Follow My Path, Whipping Boy
Race 6 Another open race. Despite her consistency I cant have the skinny price on Curvation as there are many that could suddenly find their form again. An interesting runner is Twice as Special at any price- has come down from 82 to 64 and gets the plum draw. Has not run since March, but if fit must be competitive at these weights.
Race 7 Golden Belle is slung in at the weights and even if just using this as a gallop for the feature on Saturday should win this.
Secret Dream seems to prefer Vaal to Turffontein- we don't know why. She was disappointing last time. Carries no weight today and can chase the favourite home as she is also nicely in at the weights compared to the boys.
Race 8 and 9
These Classified Stakes races favour the girls and both very open contests so go wide.

I was hoping Lyle H in the panel discussion would have mentioned a scratching for today.
but he was bullish with his double for VDJ.

Not so sure about the 'free' .... but I AM sure about the constant freezing :evil: ...and I have a 50Mb connection LAN cabled not wifi

The Alec Laird stable are out of form.
No winners in the last 30 runs.
Not sure he will get to the lows of the Bass-Robinson stable but his horses seem very flat to me at the moment.
